USMS has ruled that tech suits will still be allowed for any short course yards competition through the end of May, 2010....details are HERE. If you love your Blue70, you will swoon over this news!

We now have regular workouts at Rhodes! Check out the new schedule for times. With so much going on, we have split our calendar into three - the General calendar for events, the Kino calendar for Kino and (you guessed it) the Rhodes calendar for Rhodes!

- First and foremost we are switched to long course starting Sunday December 20th. So with the Sunday "heathen" workouts (9-10:30am) we should get a solid couple of weeks in! - Regular schedule Monday the 21st to Wednesday the 23rd. - Thursday the 24th we will have one workout from 8-9:30am - Christmas Day we will open the pool at 9am and have an "orphan" workout...there will be a couple of workout options on the board or people are free to lap swim - Regular schedule resumes Saturday, December 26th...

From Nancy Pitney: My niece, London Solomon, passed away from Leukemia in 2005. She was 7 years old and an example of energy and spirit that has carried on through a charity event called "London’s Run". This is the 5th year our family and friends have put on the event. It’s a 1/2 Marathon, 10K and 2 Mile Fun Run. Mesa Aquatics Masters was just awarded the bid to host the 2011 SCY Masters Nationals on April 28th thru May 2nd. The pool event will bring thousands of adult swimmers for all over the US in one of the most enjoyable swim meets around which will also include an open water race the last day (Monday 5/2/2011)!

In a shocking turn of events a quiet Saturday mornining workout ended because of lightening! Thanks to Coach Chris from the senior team who pulled the stranded masters swimmers into a dryland/core session with the senior kids group! Chris is going to be doing a masters specific workout on Saturdays for us down the road!
